The concept originated from Toyota Production System focuses on waste reduction by total employee involvement. These are simple, easy to understand, and implement. Shop floor people, workmen, supervisors have a great role to play to make the organization lean. This starts with 5S and moves on to identify 8 wastes in operations and eliminate them. The lean concept implementation includes almost 32 concepts like 5S, Takt Time, Line Balancing, JIT, Continuous Flow, Pull System, Jidoka, Heinjunka, Standardization, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Andon, Poka Yoke, etc.
Over the period, this increases operational efficiency and reduces the cost of operation significantly.

Set the platform right for total employee involvement by training, group meeting, suggestion scheme, etc.
Develop a master plan to implement high impacting lean concepts in a time bound manner.
Multiple trainings to make everyone aware of wastes and ways to eliminate them.
Continue the journey till this becomes self sustained by cultural change and system integration.
