Maynard Operation Sequence Technique

AQMS helps to improve the plant’s workman productivity by deployment of Maynard Operation Sequence Technique (MOST). This is caried out through time and motion study on each activities, work content estimation and work content balancing to make each workmen adequately productive.

This results to 10-15% of workmen reduction on shop floor and improve other productivity.

AQMS Approach

• Starts with selection of product family to study for productivity analysis

• Process flow and sub activities with each process step are noted

• These activities are analysed for time and motion both

• Support activities like material handling / line feeding are also included

• The MOST concepts are applied to measure TMU (time measurement unit) and work contents

• Balance the activities and workmen in order to make the workmen adequately productive
